This is a blog about our travels. Sarah and I have been married since September 2012 and thoroughly enjoy each other's company on many travels together. Sarah is an educator nurse while I am a primary school teacher. We have two girls, Ebony and Charlotte who passionately enjoy our many travels together.

Our Car

Below is a little information about our tow vehicle of choice.

We purchased 'Pierre' back in 2014.  After months of deliberation, searching and researching the internet on different makes and models of four wheel drives, we decided that a late model diesel prado would suit our needs and fall within our budgetary constraints.

At the time of purchase it was bog stock.  I managed to swindle a hayman reece HD towbar through negotiations with the dealer as part of the purchase.  It had 25000km on the clock, had never towed and the only modification was a Polaris GPS...we thought that we could live with that ;)

Since then a lot of time and money has gone into creating the perfect tow and recreational vehicle for our trip.  Below is a list of mods that have been completed.
